Fake Artist Goes to New York
About
Fake Artist is a social deduction drawing game for 3-12 players. Everyone draws together on a shared canvas, but one player, the Fake Artist, doesn't know what they're drawing!
Setup
1.One player creates a room and shares the code
2.Other players join using the room code
3.The game randomly picks a secret word and a Fake Artist
Gameplay
1.Everyone sees the word except the Fake Artist
2.Players take turns adding one stroke to the drawing
3.After two rounds, everyone votes on who they think is the Fake Artist
Winning
Artists win if:
They catch the Fake Artist AND the Fake Artist fails to guess the word
Fake Artist wins if:
They aren't caught, OR they guess the word correctly after being caught
Tips
• Draw something recognizable but not too obvious
• Watch how others draw, hesitation can be suspicious
• As the Fake Artist, blend in by mimicking others
• Pay attention to the category hint!
